On August 15, 2025, our firm secured a first-instance favorable judgment [Case No.: (2024) Chuan 01 Min Chu 926] from the Chengdu Intermediate People's Court in Sichuan Province for Mahle Company against seven defendants, including Le XX (Shanghai) Company, concerning trademark infringement and unfair competition disputes. The Chengdu Intermediate Court ordered the defendants to cease using the infringing logos and company names containing "馬勒." Due to the defendants' severe malicious infringement, the court applied double punitive damages + statutory damages, awarding total compensation exceeding 4.33 million RMB. The primary defendants were also held jointly and severally liable, and the claim for eliminating adverse effects was supported.
