On August 15, 2025, the Foshan Intermediate People's Court issued a first-instance judgment (Case No.: (2024) Yue 06 Min Chu 157) in the case of trademark infringement and unfair competition filed by our clients, New Pearl Group Co., Ltd. and Xinmingzhu (Guangdong) New Material Co., Ltd., against Foshan XX Ceramics Co., Ltd., XX Fujian Ceramics Co., Ltd., Jinjiang XX Building Materials Store, Mr. Wang XX, et al. The court fully supported our clients' claim for damages.

The court determined that our clients' registered trademarks "" and "", through long-term promotion and use, have gained high nationwide recognition and qualify as well-known trademarks. The defendants' use of the "萨某特" mark and related identifiers was found to be similar to our clients' trademarks, constituting both trademark infringement and unfair competition.

In reaching its decision, the court considered evidence submitted by our team regarding the scale of the infringement and the defendants' malicious intent, ultimately concluding that the infringement was willful and conducted on a substantial scale. Based on these factors, the court fully supported our claim for damages in the amount of 3.2 million RMB.
