On May 28-29, a delegation from Funto Law Firm, comprising attorneys Chen Jiannan, Yu Xuemin, and Lyu Xiaotong, traveled to Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, China to carry out a series of activities focused on intellectual property (IP) protection and innovation. On the morning of May 28, the team visited the Fujian Province Plumbing, Sanitary Ware & Valve Industry Association to conduct an in-depth investigation into the industrial development and current status of rights protection in Nan'an, known as a "leading hub for China's plumbing and sanitary ware industry." In the afternoon, Attorneys Chen Jiannan and Lyu Xiaotong were invited to deliver a lecture titled "IP Risks and Prevention in the E-commerce Sector" for e-commerce enterprises in Licheng District. Attorney Chen Jiannan analyzed operational risks related to copyrights, trademarks, and strategies for handling malicious complaints. Attorney Lyu Xiaotong used case studies to explain the legal risks associated with false advertising and commercial defamation in e-commerce livestreams, providing practical recommendations for infringement prevention. The interactive session fostered lively discussion and significantly enhanced the participants' awareness of IP protection.

On May 29, the Funto team visited the Quanzhou Intellectual Property Protection Center to learn about its achievements in patent protection. These include establishing fast-track patent pre-examination channels for smart manufacturing and semiconductor enterprises, and building expert databases and international resource platforms. This visit to Quanzhou allowed Funto to deepen collaboration with various stakeholders, expand its service areas, and contribute to elevating local IP protection awareness and fostering innovation.
